An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Road, 350 feet, more or less, southeast of Deans Bridge Road, thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Road a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conmussioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of
Lumpkin Road, 350 feet, more or less, southeast of Deans Bridge Road,
thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line
of Lumpkin Road a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 302 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 274 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning. This property contains .66 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2568 Lumpkin Road. (Tax
Map96-4 Parcel 45)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
