HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6695 BROWN RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- J::XJ-.\ - 19lsl15 DOCUMENT TYPE: \:)\6\ mDQ~ YEAR: OL\ BOX NUMBER: dd FILE NUMBER: \ lr;) &0 NUMBER OF PAGES: c9 '! .. ,.- ORDINANCE NO. 6695 An Ordinance to anlend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all anlendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Brown Road and Mike Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is anlended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Brown Road and Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 170 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 370 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 310 feet, more or less, to a point located on the south right -of- way line of south right-of-way line of Brown Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Brown Road a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2 acres. (Tax map 234 part of Parcel 4) 2-04-3 ~ .. ,. . . SECTION II. This amendment to the Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following stipulation: Before any sale or development of the property it must brought into compliance with the flood ordinance and the soil erosion control ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this / Z- day of ~ ,2004.
