ORDINANCE NO. 6692
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Scott Nixon Memorial Drive,
120 feet northeast of the Frontage Road West intersection; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other pwposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Scott Nixon Memorial
Drive, 120 feet northeast of the Frontage Road West intersection; thence, in a northerly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Scott Nixon Memorial Drive a distance
of 504 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 726
feet, more or less, to

a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
53 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 381 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 91 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately 2.68 acres. (Tax Map 22
Parcel 21)
SECTON II. That this amendment to the Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulations:
That the only LI use be vintage auto repair with incidental paint and body work.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
