ORDINANCE NO. 669(1 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Laney-Walker Boulevard and Harrison Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2-()\.{-3S .. t ..' Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Laney- Walker Boulevard and Harrison Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Harrison Street a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 50.0 feet to a point, thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard; thence, in a westerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard a distance of 80.0 feet to the point of beginning. The property contains .23 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1215 Laney-Walker Boulevard. (Tax Map 46-4 Parcel 541) SECTON II. This amendment to the Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the only use be a personal care home or any uses allowed under B-1 zoning. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 20_ day of April ,2004.
