ORDINANCE NO. 6689
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY CODE
TITLE 7, CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE 2, ~ 7-1-16 SO AS TO AMEND THE
TECHNICAL CODES BY DELETING THE STANDARD HOUSING CODE - 1994
EDITION AND ADDING THE INTERNA T10NAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
CODE - 2003 EDITION; TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE; TO REPEAL
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY
COMMISSION, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF
SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The Augusta-Richmond County Code, Title 7, Chapter], Article 2, Section 7-
1-16, is hereby amended by deleting the references to the following technical code, to
wit: STANDARD HOUSING CODE - /994 EDITION. and substituting therefore the
INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE - 2003 EDITION
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective April I, 2004.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
