An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Bayvale Road, 30 feet, more or less, southeast of the southwest comer of the intersection of Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conunissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Z-Dq-~I , ~ .. , . Beginnlng at ~ point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Bayvale Road, 30 feet, more or less, southeast of the southwest corner ot the intersection of Gordon Highway; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right- of-way line of Bayvale Road a distance of20 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 10 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Bayvale Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Bayvale Road a distance of 125 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 175 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 165 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .57 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2018 Gordon Highway. (Tax Map 69 part of Parcel 8.8) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 14-- clay of M:uch ,2004.
