An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond COlmty Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Vera Drive, 190 feet, more or less, north of a point where Dorn Drive intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: 2-aL.\-~'1 .. . Beginniqg at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Vera Drive, 190 feet, more or less, north of a point where Dorn Drive intersects; thence, in a 'westerly direction a distance of 917 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 196 feet, more or less, to a point located on the Georgia & Florida Railroad; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way of the Georgia & Florida Railroad line a distance of 780 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 66015'56" W a distance of 221.63 feet to a point; thence, N 14011'29" W a distance of 489.95 feet to a point; thence, N 77012'40" E a distance of 117.91 feet to a point; thence, N 01037'59" W a distance of 329.99 feet to a point; thence, N 77001 '44" E a distance of 370.69 feet to a point; thence, S 10014'19" E a distance of 516.53 feet to a point; thence, N 59046'14" E a distance of679.10 feet to a point; thence, S 13009'09" E a distance of23.01 feet to a point; thence, N 76038'51" E a distance of 810.75 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Vera Drive; thence, S 05038'25" E along the west right-of-way line of Vera Drive a distance of 640 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 27 acres. (Tax Map 180 Parcels 32,32.3,42,32.6, and part of Tax Map 167 Parcel 322) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the ConmlOn Seal thereof this 16 _ day of March ,2004.
