ORDINANCE NO. 6675
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Conmlission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Conmlission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property
located on the northwest comer of the intersection of Plantation Road and
Peach Orchard Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
S~CTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light
Industry) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of
Plantation Road and Peach Orchard Road; thence, N 58036'36" W a
distance of 125.38 feet to a point; thence, N 29007'50" E a distance of
218.90 feet to a point; thence, S 43008' 19" E a distance of 69.4 7 feet to a
point; thence, S 66030'00" E a distance of 95.46 feet to a point located on
the northwest right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 215 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains .68 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 3859 Peach Orchard Road. (Tax Map 180
Parcel 1)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
