ORDINANCE NO. 6674
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Conm1ission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 60 feet, more
or less, west of a point where the centerline of Maddox Road extended
intersects the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road, 60 feet, more or less, west of a point where the centerline of
Maddox Road extended intersects the south right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road; thence, S 06016'08" E a distance of 458.27 feet to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 570 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess
Parkway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-
way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway a distance of 36 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, N 00058'47" E a distance of 812.18 feet to a point; thence,
N 10052"47" E a distance of 116.40 feet to a point located on the south
right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction
along the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 208
feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 4.39 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 3902 and 3904
Wrightsboro Road. (Tax Map 39 Parcels 69 & 70)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
