An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to .Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) with a
SPECIAL EXCEPTION to constmct a patio subdivision not exceeding 4
lots per acres affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of
Belair Road, 240 feet, more or less, east of the northeast comer of the
intersection of Daniel Field-Rifle Range Drive and Belair Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conunissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IA (One-family
Residential) with a SPECIAL EXCEPTION to construct a patio subdivision not
exceeding 4 lots per acres affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-
way line of Belair Road, 240 feet, more or less,
east of the northeast corner of the intersection of
Daniel Field-Rifle Range Drive and Belair Road;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 200
feet to a point; .thence, in an northeasterly
direction a distance of 1,780 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance 6f 640
feet" more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 430 feet,

more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 640 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in, a southerly
direction a distance of 480 feet, more or less, to
a point located on the northwest right-of-way line
of Burdette Drive (dead end); thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-
of-way line of Burdette Drive (dead end) a di~tance
of 30 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 75 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 323 feet, more or less, to
a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 135 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
323 feet, more or )ess, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 1,120 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning. (This
property contains approximately 39.6 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 3775
Belair Road and 2815 Burdette Drive. (Tax Map 53
Parcels 1.03 and 2)
SECTION I I .
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
