An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Riclunond County Conmussion effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which _have been approved by either the Augusta-
RiclmlOnd County Conunission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a
Special Exception for residential purposes affecting property located on the
northeast comer of the intersection of Elizabeth Drive and Peach Orchard Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Riclmlond County on the 15th day ofNovemher, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is an1ended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone P-l
(Professional) with a Special Exception for residential purposes affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast comer of the intersection of
Elizabeth Drive and Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a northerly direction
along the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of
100 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 225 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
156 feet, more or less, to a point lqcated on the northeast right-of-way line
of Elizabeth Drive; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast
right-of-way line of Elizabeth Drive a distance of 200 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains .57 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 3418 Peach Orchard Road. (Tax Map 133-1
Parcel 54)

SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject
to the following stipulations:
That parking be located in the side yard; no parking shall face Peach
Orchard Road.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordihances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
