HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6663 ROY ROAD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: D -- /7.:5)3- lo12LL3 DOCUMENT TYPE: o<O,\\\Q"ce YEAR: O~ BOX NUMBER: \ q F~ENUMBER: \~q~~ NUMBER OF PAGES: cY ORDINANCE NO. 6663 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to ZoneR-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Roy Road; 1,500 feet, more or less, southwest of the southwest comer of the intersection of Wheeler Road and Roy Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: z-03-<t'S' . ',. ~ Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Roy Road; 1,500 feet, more or less, southwest of the southwest comer of the intersection of Wheeler Road and Roy Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Roy Road a distance of 505 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Roy Road (dead end); thence, in a southerly direction along the west right- of-way line of Roy Road (dead end) a distance of 40 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 145 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 318.49 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.6 acres. (Tax Map 30 Parcels 37 & 38) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
