ORDINANCE NO. 6662 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No, 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) to Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the east right-of-way line of Ervay Street, 199 feet south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Boykin Road and Ervay Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) to Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Ervay Street, 199 feet south of the southeast comer of the intersection of Boykin Road and Ervay Street; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 700 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 365 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 81018'25"E a distance of 283.53 feet to a point; thence, S 39018'42" W a distance of280.65 feet to a point; thence, S 89029' 43" W a distance of 562.55 feet to a point; Z..03-~C; - w ... ~ ., ;0' , thence, NOlo 42' 19" W a distance of 15.02 feet to a point; thence, 889030'02" W a distance of 360.47 feet to a point; thence, S 00038' 17" E a distance of 35.73 feet to a point; thence, 8 89030'36" W a distance of 1,220.48 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 610 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 1,750 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Ervay Street; thence, N 78003 '20" E along the southeast right-of- way line (dead end) of Ervay Street a distance of 61 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 27.68 acres. (Tax Map 167 Parcel 111) SECTION I I . This amendment to the Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulations: That the subdivision shall not exceed 69 lots. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this t..J.... day of ~ ,2003.
