ORDINANCE NO. 6650
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property located on the south right-of-way line of Tobacco Road, 1,900 feet,
more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Woodlake
Drive and Tobacco Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-
way line of Tobacco Road, 1,900 feet, more or less,
east of the southeast corner of the intersection of
Woodlake Drive and Tobacco Road; thence, in an
easterly direction along the south right-of-way
line of Tobacco Road a distance of 200 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to
a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 300
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains 1.4 acres and has recently been
assigned an address of 2554 Tobacco Road. (out of
Tax Map 141, Parcel 4.4)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
