ORDINANCE NO. 6649 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 1,050 feet, more or less, northeast of the southeast corner of the intersection of Barton Chapel Road and Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. lllat the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: z. O~.. :8 7 Beginning at a point located on the southeast right -of -way line of Gordon Highway, 1,050 feet, more or less, northeast of the southeast corner of the intersection of Barton Chapel Road and Gordon Highway; thence, N 69020'09U E along the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a distance of 46.21 feet to a point; thence, S 20040'52' E a distance of 25.0 feet to a point; thence, N 69026'08U E a distance of 10.04 feet to a point; thence, S 2004l'44U E a distance of 278.37 feet to a point; thence, S 69020'44U W a distance of 96.97 feet to a point; thence, N 2004l'30U W a distance of 243.30 feet to a point; thence, N 690l6'49U E a distance of40.70 feet to a point; thence, N 20041'44U W a distance of 60.03 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .61 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2174 Gordon Highway. (Tax Map 68 Parcel 24.06) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 21- day of 0 c t ,2003.
