I ORDINANCE NO.~648 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Conunission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located where the southeast right-of-way line of Eisenhower Drive intersects the Northeast right-of-way line of Washington Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-fan1ily Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2-03-8& ~ t Beginning at a point located where the southeast right -of -way line of Eisenhower Drive intersects the Northeast right-of-way line of Washington Road; thence in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Eisenhower Drive a distance of 400.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 299.56 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 400.13 feet to a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Washington Road a distance of 300.00 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.75 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2553 Washington Road. (Tax Map 19-2 Parcel 151) SECTION I I . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 21 _ day of Oc t ,2003.
