" ORDINANCE NO. 6647 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all an1endments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-lE (One-fan1ily Residential) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Amli Way (Private), 420 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Augusta West Parkway and Amli Way; and for the repeal of ordinances ill conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is an1ended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to ZoneR-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: ,,-o~ - 8S .", . .. , ~ .. Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Amli Way (Private), 420 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Augusta West Parkway and Amli Way; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 1,606 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 927 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 680 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 654 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 1,700 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. (Tax Map 40 Parcels 44, 45, 46.1, 46.2, & 46.3) SECTION II. This amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is subject to the following stipulations: 1. The developer agree to pay a pro-rata share of the cost if a traffic signal is with in 5 years of approval. 2. That a 30'undisturbed natural buffer be maintained on the property line adjacent to Hillcreek subdivision. Ten feet of this buffer may be incorporated into private property if protected by deed restrictions. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the ConmlOn Seal thereof this 2..l- day of ()('!'" ,2003.
