An Ordinance to anlend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone tR-l (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business)
affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Brown Road,
473 feet, more or less, west of the southwest corner of the intersection of
Old Waynesboro Road and Brown Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is anlended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest
right-of-way line of Brown Road, 473 feet, more or
less, west of. the southwest corner of the
intersection of Old Waynesboro Road and Brown Road;
thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
257.22 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 170.2 feet to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of
259.6 feet to a point located on the southwest
right -of -way line of Brown Road; thence, in an
easterly direction along the southwest right-of-way
line of Brown Road a distance of 170 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately 1.0 acres and is known under
the present numbering system as 1718 Brown Road.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
