HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6644 FOURTH ST Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: O-dcD~- ~L\Lj DOCUMENT TYPE: CX6 \ r'D.r"\c.e.., YEAR: O~ BOX NUMBER: \ q PILE NUMBER: \ 19 ~ L\ q NUMBER OF PAGES: c!;{ . , z.~a3~78 ORDINANCE NO. 6644 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-3C (Multiple- family Residential) to Zone P-l (professional) affecting property located on the southeast right- of-way line of Fourth Street, 88 feet southwest of the southeast comer of the intersection of Walker Street and Fourth Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l (professional) affecting property as follows: .. , '. . . , Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line'of Fourth Street, 88 feet southwest of the southeast corner of the intersection of Walker Street and Fourth Street; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 41.00 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 44.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 41.0 feet to a point located on the southeast right- of-way line of Fourth Street; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 44.0 feet along the southeast right-of- way line of Fourth Street to the point of beginning. This property contains .04 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 602 Fourth Street. (Tax Map 47-4 Parcel 320) SECTION II. This amendment to the zoning map is subject to the following stipulations: That a permanent easement be recorded on 611 Fourth Street to provide adequate parking for this property. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ~y of Sept ,2003. APPROVED THIS 9-16-03 ,2003.
