ORDINANCE NO. 6638
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all anlendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Furys Ferry Road
and Washington Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of
Furys Ferry Road and Washington Road; thence, in a northwesterly
direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Furys Ferry Road a
distance of 248 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 47032' 19" E a
distance of 132.33 feet to a point; thence, S 42026'40" E a distance of
225.78 feet to a point; thence, S 47032'19" W a distance of 125.06 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains .69 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 3149 Washington Road. (Tax Map
11 Parcel 25.6)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
