An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the northeast right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 1,446 feet, more or
less, southeast of the southeast comer of the intersection of Tobacco Road and Mike
Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Mike
Padgett Highway, 1,446 feet, more or less, southeast of the southeast
corner of the intersection of Tobacco Road and Mike Padgett Highway;
thence, N 56031' 11" E a distance of 625.00 feet to a point; thence, S
39056' IS" E a distance of 150.00 feet to a point; thence, S 51055'32" W a
distance of625.00 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line
of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, N 38053'47" W a distance of 200.00
feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.5 acres and has
recently been assigned an address of 3744 Mike Padgett Highway. (Part
of Tax Map 158 Parcel 6.07)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 ~ day of Aug. 2003.
