ORDINANCE NO. 6632
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and LI (Light Industry) to Zone LI (Light Industry)
affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway,
760 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the southeast right-of-way line of
Pineview Drive intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and LI (Light Industry) to Zone
LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Mike
Padgett Highway, 760 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the
southeast right-of-way line of Pineview Drive intersects the northeast
right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 2,110 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 680 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 803 feet, more ore less to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 111 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance 1,221 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 995 feet,
more or less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Mike
Padgett Highway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast
right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of243 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 18
acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3948 Mike
Padgett Highway. (Tax Map 184-2 Parcels 76.1, 77 & 77.1)
SECTION II. That this amendment to the Zoning Map is subject to the
following stipulations:
No vehicle access be allowed to Oakdale Avenue.
A 50 foot undisturbed natural buffer be maintained along the portion of the subject tract
located over 300 feet from Mike Padgett Highway.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
