An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road,
391 feet, more or less, south of the southwest comer of the intersection of Lumpkin Road
and Peach Orchard Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:

THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road, 391 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the
intersection of Lumpkin Road and Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a
southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Peach Orchard
Road a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 415.00 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance
of 415.00 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.9 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 2925 Peach Orchard
Road. (Tax Map 110-1 Parcel 34)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19~ day of August ,2003.
