ORDINANCE NO. 6627
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Riclunond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Riclunond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone R-1 (One-family Residential) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residential)
affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Helen Street,
100.00 feet east of the northeast comer of the intersection of Glenn
A venue and Helen Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Riclunond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IA
(One-family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Helen Street,
100.00 feet east of the northeast comer of the intersection of Glenn
A venue and Helen Street; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of
215.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 70.0 feet
to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 216 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Helen Street;
thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Helen
Street a distance of 70.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .35 acres and is known under the present numbering system as
2625 Helen Street. (Tax Map 44-1 Parcell)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
