An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted' by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-RiclmlOnd County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family
Residential) to Zone P-l (professional) affecting property located on the southeast comer of
the intersection of Elizabeth Drive and Peach Orchard Road; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RlCHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to ZoneP-l (professional) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast comer 'of the' intersection of
Elizabeth Drive and Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a southe~sterly 'direction
along the southwest right-of-way line of Elizabeth Drive a distance of 263.0 feet
to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 59.7 feet to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 250.0 feet to a point located on
the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance
of 140.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .65
acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3420 Peach Orchard
Road. (Tax Map 133-1 Parcel 5)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18_ day of March, 2003.
