ORDINANCE NO. 6601
An Ordinance to anlend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the' Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to ZoneB-2 (General Business) affecting property located
on the southwest corner of the intersection of Augusta West Parkway and Wheeler Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RlCHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and R-IA (One-fanlily Residential) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of the ir,Itersection of Augusta
West Parkway and Wheeler Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the
southwest right-of-way line of Augusta West Parkway a distance of 313 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 219 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 457 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road; thence,
in an easterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road a
distance of 310 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
1.9 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1203 Augusta West
Parkway. (Tax Map 30 Parcel 26)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
