An Ordinance to anlend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to
ZoneB-2 (General Business) affecting property located at the northeast comer of the
intersection of the Georgia-Florida railroad line and Tobacco Road; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RlCHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conullissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is anlended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:

Beginning eft a point located at the northeast comer of the intersection of th~
Georgia-Florida railroad line and Tobacco Road; thence, N 22018'25" W along
the northeast right-of-way of the Georgia-Florida railroad line a distance of
317.71 feet to a point; thence, S 87031 '22" E a distance of 304.5 feet to a point;
thence, S 02034'37" E a distance of 294.81 feet to a point located on the north
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road a distance of 197 feet, more or less, to the
point beginning. This property contains 1.6 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 1991 Tobacco Road. (Tax Map 156 Parcel 9 and 9.1)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18_ day of March. 2003.
