An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and ReconfIrm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the
State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone
B-2 (General Business)affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of MiIIedgeviIIe
Road, 160 feet, more or less, west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Polo Road and
MiIIedgevilIe Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RlCHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road,
160 feet, more or less, west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Polo
Road and Milledgeville Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north
right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 138.25 feet to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 216.5 feet to a point; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 113.8 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 215 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains approximately .64 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 2619 Milledgeville Road. (Tax Map 71-3 Parcel 25)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
