YEAR: 03 BOX NUMBER: II FILE NUMBER: I ~Co- ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: 2.. .-- r- Z-03-0r l' 7 ~.: ORDINANCE NO. 6587 ..;.J An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of .. ..0. ~ ...~_ Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Harper-Franklin A venue, 70 I feet, more or less, east of the southeast comer of the intersection of Jimmie Dyess Parkway and Harper-Franklin A venue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purpo~es: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended "1 . by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to ZoneR~IC (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: r ... / / , I / .,~ ..i' , '". .' J- , -', Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Harper- Franklin Avenue; 701 feet, more or less, east of the southeast comer of the intersection of Jimmie Dyess Parkway and Harper-Franklin Avenue; thence; - in'. an"easterly -direction along the southeast right-of-way line of. . Harper -Franklin Avenue a distance of 362 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 15041 '28" E a distance of 142.71 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 1,956 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 44035'57" E a distance of 40.95 feet to a point; thence, S 54038'02" W a distance of 1,083 .74 feet to a point; thence, S 00032'42" W a distance of 660.00 feet to a point; thence, S 04027'18" E a distance of255.00 feet to a point; thence, S 85032'42" W a distance of 1,105.00 feet to a point; thence, N 10027' 18" W a distance of 100.00 feet to a point; thence, N 37032'42" E a distance of 180.00 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 286 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N15041 '24" W a distance of 1,029.50 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 48.14 acres and is located on Tax Map 66 Parcel 56.3. SECTION II. This petition includes the following stipulations: That all lots shall be at least 70' wide and 9,000 square feet in area.
