An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Rlc1uTIond County and theuC1tY COullcII of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all
ame.ndments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone R-3B (Multiple-
family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 1,017 feet, more or less, west of the
northwest comer of the intersection of Augusta West Parkway and Wrightsboro Road;
and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.. That the COI;nprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of

Richmond County on the 15th day.ofNovember, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone R-3B (Multiple-family
Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road, 1,017 feet, more or less, west of the northwest comer of
the intersection of Augusta West Parkway and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in
.a westerly direction along the. northwest right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road a distance of 112 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 1,070 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
centerline ofRaes Creek; thence, in an easterly direction along the centerline
of Raes Creek a distance of 112 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 1,070 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 3.0 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 3515 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax Map 40 Parcel 61)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
