ORDINANCE NO. 6583
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of
Tobacco Road, 440 feet, more or less, east of the northeast comer of the intersection of
Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the CQ,mp~ehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Tobacco Road,
440 feet, more or less, east of the northeast comer of the intersection of
Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road; thence, N 10026' 11" E a distance
of 384.92 feet to a point; thence, S 82022 '27" E a distance of 170.17 feet to a

point; thence, S 10026'11" W a distance of389.78 feet to a point located on
the north right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in a westerly direction
along the north right-of-way line of Tobacco Road a distance of 170 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains 1.51 acres and is located at
Tax Map 142 part of parcel 3.1.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
