YEAR: 03 BOX NUMBER: Il FILE NUMBER:! &5C93 NUMBER OF PAGES: "2. 11'\,~ ,- ,-' 2-~03- O~, , ,. i"'.-' ., , , ORDINANCE NO. 6582 An, Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l (One-family Re'sidential) to Zone R- lC (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the southeast 'right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road, 225 feet, more or less, northeast of the northeast comer of the intersection of Pine Log Road and Old Waynesboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict.herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: 'SECTION I. That ,the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conmussioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing. the, Compreh~nsive Zo~g Map from Zone R-l (One~family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-farnily.Residential) ~ecting property as follows: _...-J"_/ >.. /""r-... .' ,j . . i . Waynesboro Road, 225 feet, more or less, northeast of the northeast comer of the intersection of Pine Log Road and Old Waynesboro Road, thence, in a 'northeasterly" direction "along the southeast right-of-way line of d Old..,.... Waynesboro Road a distanceof300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 1,020 feet, more or less~ to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 1,030 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 7 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3858 Old Waynesboro Road. (Tax Map 170 Parcel 27) SECTION II. This petition includes the following stipulations: That houses have a minimum of 1500 square feet of heated floor area and that there be no access to Bowers Road. , SECTION III.
