ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY CODE SO
AS TO INCREASE THE THRESHOLD JOB COST AMOUNT IN CONNECTION
WlTH THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS; TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE; TO
REPEAL cONFUCTING ORDlNANcES;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION,
AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:

Augusta-Richmond County Code, S 7-1-90 (c) ( 2 ) is hereby amended by
deleting the following:
$100.00 and less,
No fee unless inspection required, in which
case a $15,00 fee for each inspection shall
be charged.
$101.00 to $2,000.00
$6.00 per thousand of fraction thereof
Augusta-Richmond County Code, S 7-1-90 (c) (2) is hereby amended by
substituting the following to wit:
$500.00 and less
No fee unless inspection required, in which
case a $15.00 fee for each inspection shall
be charged,
$501.00 to $2,000.00
$6.00 per thousand of fraction thereof.
This ordinance shall take effect January 1,2003.
If any teml, requirement or provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance shall, to any extent, be invalid or
unenforceable, the remainder of this ordinance or the application of such
terms, requirements and provisions to persons or circumstances other than
those to which it is held invalid or unenforceable, shall not be affected
thereby and each tenn, requirement or provision ofthis ordinance shall be
valid and be enforced to the fullest extent pennitted by law,
All ordinances or parts of ordinances previously adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission, which are in conflict with this ordinance,
are hereby repealed to .the extent necessary to eliminate such conflict.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption.
