" ......' .. 2-Q"'::L~I~1 ~ 'c . ,; , ORDINANCE NO.~8 An Ordinance to an1end the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted-by the Board of Conm1issioners of Richmond County, and the City Co'uncll of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An' Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of COl1Ullissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone R- lD (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of the Georgia & Florida railroad line, 1,071 feet, more or less, northeast of the north right-of-way line of Willis 'Foreman Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day <;>fNovember, 1983, the caption ()fwhich is set out above, is amended by changin~ the Comprehensive, Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone R-ID (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: 0;; / ; / / ./ / ~,~ ~ .. 'r' Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of the Georgia & Florida railroad line, 01,071 feet, more or less, northeast of the north right-of-way line of Willis Foreman Road; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 590 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 910 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 1,070 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 194 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance 630 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 1,950 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right-of-way of the Georgia & Florida railroad line; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right- of-way of the Georgia & Florida railway line a distance of 2,000 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 50.41 acres. (Tax map 179 Parcel 03) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
