An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfinll the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Conunissioners of Riclm10nd County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the
Board of Conm1issioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the
State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco
Road, 200 feet, more or less, west of a point where the center line of Morgan Road extended
intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco Road,
200 feet, more or less, west of a point where the center line of Morgan Road
extended intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 205 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 231 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction
along the southwest right-of-way line of Tobacco Road a distance of 189 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .93 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2804 Tobacco Road. (Tax map 129 Parcel
392)
SECTION I I .
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
