YEAR: 0 L BOX NUMBER: if FILE NUMBER: I GLf52s NUMBER OF PAGES: 2- ..~ .':.... -=!!' , r ORDINANCE NO.~8 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfinn the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-fan1ily Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Park Drive, 188 feet, more or less, northeast of a point where the northeast right-of- way line of Lumpkin Road intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Park Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richn10nd County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: 2.0::t.-\3S' t; .. , Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Park Drive, 188 feet, more or less, northeast of a point where the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin road intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Park Drive; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Park Drive a distance of 101 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 185 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of ,1 09 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 198 feet ,more or less, to the point of beginning. This property consists of one tax parcel totaling .44 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3096 Lumpkin Park Drive. (Tax Map 96-4 Parcel 56) SECTION II. This petition approved with the following stipulations: That only a 32 square foot sign be allowed and that only 3096 Lumpkin Park Drive shall be rezoned; And if the daylilly operation ceases to exist the zoning shall revert back to Zone R-1A. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this I L day of.t ~ ,2002.
