An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Cornmissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) to Zone R-
MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting property located on the south right-
of-way line of Hephzibah-McBean Road, 700 feet, more or less, west of
the southwest comer of the intersection of Mike Padgett Highway and
Hephzibah-McBean Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is an1ended
by changing the Comprehensive Zarling Map from Zone R-1 (One-fan1ily Residential) to Zone R-MH
(Manufactured Home Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Hephzibah-
McBean Road, 700 feet, more or less, west of the southwest comer of the
intersection of Mike Padgett Highway and Hephzibah-McBean Road;
thence, S 06050'00" W a distance of 274.97 feet to a point; thence, S 810
02'42" W a distance of 128.82 feet to a point; thence, N 77033'48" W a
distance of 128.89 feet to a point; thence, N060 48'38" E a distance of
297.44 feet to a point located ori the south right-of-way line ofHephzibah-
McBean Road; thence, S 83010'00" E along the south right-of-way line of
Hephzibah-McBean Road a distance of 252.35 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.73 acres' and is known under the
present numbering system as 920 Hephzibah-McBean Road. (Tax map
354 parcel 154)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
