An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Conu11.issioners of Riclunond County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the

Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Riclunond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Conullissioners of
Riclunond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line ofWrightsboro Road,
270 feet west of a point where the center line of Maddox Road extended intersects the
south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Riclunond County on the 15th day. of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road, 270 feet west of a point where the center line of Maddox Road
extended intersects the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence,
SOl016' 38" W a distance of379.02 feet to a point; thence, N 870 23'12" W
a distance of 97.88 feet to a point; thence, N 000 57'15" E a distance of
379.14 feet to a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road; thence, S 87022'05" E along the south right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road a distance of 100.02 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .86 acres and is known under the present numbering
system as 3906 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax map 39 Parcel 69.1)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
