" " ;;~ ,~ 4 .. ,- ORDINANCE NO. 6560 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conunissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and. ReconfIrm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Conunissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) with conditions to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Spirit Creek Road, 210 feet, more or less, west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Spirit Creek Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Conmlissioners of RiclmlOnd County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) with conditions to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: /' / z.. ..-o~-l 1 9 ".' ;;- -;s ~' ~~ ;' Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Spirit Creek Road, 210 feet, more or less, west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Spirit Creek Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Spirit Creek Road a distance of 310 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 415 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 430 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.9 acres. (Tax map 153 part of parcel 2) SECTION II . This ordinance is approved with the following stipulation: That a 20' buffer which conforms to the standards of the County Tree Ordinance be maintained along the north and west property lines. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Conunon Seal thereof this 15_ day of Oc t ,2002.
