Yc.x ,ll""')o..n\...X-o YEAR: D:2 BOX NUMBER: J7 FILE NUMBER: \ ~35;) NUMBER OF PAGES: 0- r:. f :. .- '~ "j' ~ ORDINANCE NO. 6556 ~\, _ '~''\ \ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensiv,e Zoning Ordinancead&ted by' the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) with restrictions to Zone R-IC (One-family Residence) affecting property located 200 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast comer of the intersection of Whitney Street and Dearborn Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is anlended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3b (Multiple-family Residence) with restrictions to Zone R-1C (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows: ,. ~\' r,,,/ ~ c'.' -~/ ,(t , \ " 2_0-:;L-\\O . '. 1= .- /' r~ Beginning at a point located 200 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast comer of the intersection of Whitney Street and Dearborn Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 220 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 75.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 25 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance' of 175 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 80 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 715 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 350 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 725 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 5.5 acres and is a portion of 57-3 parcel 9. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be approved with the following stipulations: 1. That the development shall be limited to 19 lots with no road connection to the remainder of this tract or to adjoining tracts. 2. That the paper section of Whitney Street be improved by the petitioner to county standards from where the pavement now ends to the subject parcel. SECTION III.
