D? - l, S-s + DOCUMENT TYPE: ~\)\ N A~c..~ YEAR: ;;2.00 ~ BOX NUMBER: I Lt, FILE NUMBER: I ~ '?:> It ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: .~ .. .. y' J , ..0; ORDINANCE NO. -6554 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Washington Road and Boy Scout Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2..0~-\OCo .." .' ~. . " . . ,; v Beginning at a point located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Washington Road and Boy Scout Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road a distance of 357 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 247 feet, more or less, to a point located on the south right-of-way line of Washington Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of- way line of Washington Road a distance of 179 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .93 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2902 Washington Road (Tax Map 12 Parcel 92). SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ...:2. day of Sept ,2002.
