to
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983,
entitled

Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-
1C (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business)
affecting property located on the northwest right -of -way
line of Twelfth Street,
more or less,
139 feet,
northeast of the northwest corner of the intersection
of Mauge Street and Twelfth Street; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning from Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Twelfth Street, 139 feet, more or less,
northeast of the northwest corner of the intersection
of Mauge Street and Twelfth Street; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction
a distance of 49 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200
feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest
right-of-way line of Twelfth Street; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right -of-
way line of Twelfth Street a distance of 50 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains .23 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 1219 Twelfth Street. (Tax map 46-4
Parcel 734)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
