An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property on the east right -'of -way line of Druid Park Avenue, 350 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Druid Park Avenue j and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follows: Tract A Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Druid Park Avenue, 350 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Druid Park Avenue; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Druid Park Avenue a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 149 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 149 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. 2.. _C -:>-- 'g -, .'~' , " i , " ,~ Tract B Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street, 140 feet, more or less, north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Emmett Street; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point i thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property (tract A and B)contains approximately .68 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1325 and 1321 Emmett Street and 1336 Druid Park Avenue. (Tax Map 45-4 Parcel 122 and part of Parcel 125.01) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
