"i ORDINANCE NO. 6536 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and R-IB (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road, 445 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Barton Chapel Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and R-IB (One-family Residential) property as fOllO~ to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting 2.. .. Beginning at'a point located on the northwe@t right-of- way line of Barton Chapel Road, 445 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Barton Chapel Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road a distance of 57 feet, more or less, to the point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 278 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 55 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 285 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .37 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1607 Barton Chapel Road. (Tax Map 53 Parcel 57.1) ,/ SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18th day of July I 2002.
