An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November IS, 1983,
entitled
Reconfirm
the
Ordinance
and
to
Readopt
"An
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning
from Zone
(One-family Residential)
B-1
and
R-IA
Zone
(Neighborhood Business)
(General
Business)
to Zone B-2
affecting property located on the northwest right -of -way
line of Deans Bridge Road; 840 feet, more or less, west
of
the
intersection
of
northwest
of
the
corner
Georgetown Drive and Deans Bridge Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest r~ht-~f-
way line of Deans Bridge Road; 840 feet, more or less,
west of the northwest corner of the intersection of
Georgetown Drive and Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a
westerly direction along the northwest right-of-way
line of Deans Bridge Road a distance of 144 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in an easterly direction a distance of 148 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains approximately 1
acres and is known under the present numbering system
as 3251 Deans Bridge Road. (Tax Map 96 Parcel 8)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
