HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6529 CAPPS ST Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - DtOd - t.Y- 5 Q) ~ DOCUMENT TYPE: 0'< 0\ \'\OJ) C e YEAR:t2:9 BOX NUMBER: \~ FILE NUMBER: \ 19 \ <6 ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ \ .- ORDINANCE NO. 6529 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Cowlcil of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast comer of the intersection of Capps Street and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Ordinance from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2..0~-&,l) " Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Capps Street and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 390 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 420 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance 85 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 145 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 55 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 90 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 168 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Wylds Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Wylds Road a distance of 560 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 275 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 225 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of350 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line of Capps Street, thence in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Capps Street; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Capps Street a distance of 830 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.33 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3412 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax Map 41-4 Parcel 70) ~ : SECTION II.
