An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983,
entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A
(Agriculture) to Zone R-1E (One-family Residential) affecting
property located on the northwest right -of -way 1 ine of
Belair Road, 1,260 feet, more or less, east of the
northeast corner of the intersection of Burdette Drive
and Belair Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Ordinance from Zone A (Agriculture}to Zone R-1E (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at ~.poi~t located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Belair Road, 1,260 feet, more or less, east
of the northeast corner of the intersection of Burdette
Drive and Belair Road; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 182 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 34
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 316 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance
of 263.54 feet to a point located on the northwest
right -of -way line of Lund Street (unimproved); thence,
in a northeasterly direction along the northwest right-
of-way line of Lund Street (unimproved) a distance of
50 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction
along the northeast right-of-way line of Lund Street
(unimproved) a distance of 314.67 feet to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of
169.45 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point located
on the northwest right-of-way line of Belair Road;
thence, in a southwesterly direction along the
northwest right-of-way line of Belair Road a distance
of 442 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains approximately 3.6 acres and is
known as 3639, 3641, 370l, 3703 and 3705 Belair Road
(Tax map 53 parcels 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 13, and 14)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed
