ORDINANCE NO. 6509
amend the Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983,
entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning
from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone R-1 (One-family
Residential) affecting property located on the northwest
right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road, 142 feet, more
or less, south of a point where the west right-of-way
line of Boy Scout Road intersects the northwest right-
of-way line of Skinner Mill Roadj and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone R-1 (One-family
Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginnipg a~ a point located on the northwest right-~f-
way line of Skinner Mill Road, 142 feet, more or less,
south of a point where the west right-of-way line of
Boy Scout Road intersects the northwest right -of -way
line of Skinner Mill Road; thence, in a southerly
direction along the northwest right-of-way line of
Skinner Mill Road a distance of 135 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, N 69001'49" W a distance of
325.54 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 135 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, S 69004'14" E a distance of 328 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains l.02 acres and is the southern half of 265 Boy
Scout Road. (Tax map 18 part of parcel 2.02)
SECTION I I .
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
