I, "' ORDINANCE NO. 6478 j An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 212.3 feet west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Holden Street and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: 2-0~...'3C . . . ~ 1. -. ~- . .. Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 212.3 feet west of the northwest comer of the intersection of Holden Street and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property consists of two tax parcels totaling .34 acres known under the present numbering system as 1719 and 1721 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax map 45-3 parcels 279 and 281) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed 16th day of April ,2002. APPROVED THIS4-16 ,2002.
