HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6477 OLIVE RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- c9C[)() -l9L11i DOCUMENT TYPE: a~O\"or)c~ YEAR: Od BOX NUMBER: \ '5 FILE NUMBER: \ 1.9 \X) d NUMBER OF PAGES: () c'~ ... , " ORDINANCE NO. 6477 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of COnmllssioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirnl the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Olive Road, 225 feet, more or less, north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Wharton Drive and Olive Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone R- 3C (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property as follows: 2-02- ";:l '1 .:::- " .. Beginning at a point located on the west right-of- way line of Olive Road, 225 feet, more or less, north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Wharton Drive and Olive Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 315 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 276 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 224 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right- of-way line of Olive Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Olive Road a distance of 329 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.2 acres. (Tax map 58-3 parcel 85) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed 16th day of April ,2002.
